Who We Are

With almost two decades designing, developing and building destinations along the Florida Gulf Coast, Jason Romair has a refined sense of vision, creating places that seamlessly combine both the beauty of the environment with the dreams of its inhabitants.

Jason began his career renovating historic homes in Uptown New Orleans, before going on to study construction management at Louisiana State University. Ever intentional, Jason and his wife, Renee, chose to raise their family on the Florida Gulf Coast, recognizing the area’s finely honed blend of values and community that mirror their own. Jason has centered his career and invested his talents on developing the area he calls home.

Developing and building homes in the St. Joe communities are touchstones in the evolution of his career while the completion of Kaiya Beach Resort will be the capstone. At Kaiya, Jason artfully brings together his design arsenal and master-planning resources to create a singular luxury beach home experience. More than brick and mortar, more than comfort and community, more than dreams articulated and built, a Romair home becomes a legacy realized.

What We Do

As a premiere developer in the Northwest Florida region, since its inception Romair has partnered with investors. By focusing on real estate submarkets that cater to wealthy users, our projects benefit from high barriers to entry, and this contributes to our track record of repeated successes.

How We Do It

Prior to any hard commitments, our team of seasoned real estate professionals studies all aspects of an investment, including land planning, product mix, entitlement requirements, legal issues, marketing, branding, construction and sales/leasing. Once an investment meets our stringent criteria, we fast-track the project into our development schedule.

At Romair, we believe that the art of communication is the language of leadership, and it is our seamless communication that serves as the foundation of our success. Functioning as a full-service development firm, our construction arm lends us unique advantages over competitors. Daily interaction between our project managers, in-house architects and accountants enables us to address issues as they arise, instead of during the next billing cycle. 

Over the years we have remained flexible in our partnership structures, employing the most astute option given the situation.
